In 1986, Kubota acquires from Nissan the Ebro agricultural tractor production division of the Spanish company Motor Ibérica SA [1] On April 6, 1994, the Ebro Kubota SA plant in Cuatro Vientos , Madrid closes . In 2012, Kubota Corp. acquires the Kverneland group [2] . On May 13, 2016, it entered into an agreement to purchase Great Plains Manufacturing Inc, covering all five branches with multiple locations in Kansas , USA and Lincolnshire
